Review
This book was an all-nighter for me. Again. No matter how many times I read it, I just can't stop.
It's been a couple years, though, so this time I'd actually forgotten things. And it's nice to read so that I can finish the series. I've read books 1-3 over and over but never managed to get to 4 until recently. One day I will get to Heroes of Olympus. lol
The part that I always look forward to is Medusa's chapter. This is the classic hero move in this book. Out-smarting the monster. It's hard not to sympathize with Medusa, though, considering her history and I can understand why she hates Annabeth so much, even if it isn't fair.
Grover will always be the very best side-kick ever, in my opinion. He's cowardly-brave. :) He'll always stand right by Percy, but he'll be trembling while he does it.
Annabeth reminds me so much of Hermione (now that I've jumped on the HP bandwagon). But that's a good thing. Percy has the courage but not the brains. He needs her. I'm really hoping they become a couple. They argue and bicker, but they also challenge each other in ways no one else does.
