I read this story to the boy for a bedtime story. Girly, I know. He didn't mind. :)
I really enjoyed it. It was short and sweet. I think it set up the character of Ashlynn very well. We learned a lot about her in a short time.
She loves shoes!
She is willing to work hard.
She's kind to others, despite how they treat her - looking at you Evil Step-aunt!
She isn't totally sold on her Happily Ever After.
I really hope she meets this boy who built the birdhouse. Whoever he is, I'm already shipping it. :)
