Nothing happened.
Okay, well, things happened, but nothing new. At least with The Prince we got some new perspective on things, especially royalty/palace life. But here, we learn what we already know. Aspen screwed up and will do anything (including risk his and America's life) to get back together with her.
I want to like Aspen.
As I've pointed out before, he has been loyal to her while Maxon dated several other girls. America never had to doubt Aspen's intentions or feelings.
But I just don't like him. He's stubborn and bland and thinks he knows everything about everything.
