Frostbitten - Heather Beck
My first thought of Anastasia...

My first thought of Frost...

And that's about as far as I got with either one of them. I couldn't make myself actually care about them. I suppose that's because many of the books I read are in first person POV, and that makes it easier to relate to the characters. Maybe.

Something that bugged me about this book was the Insta-love! I hate Insta-love. These two people don't really even know each other. They've barely spent any time together and immediately they're throwing the "l-word" around like crazy. Honestly, I think it came down to lack of choices. They were both outcasts and found each other. They don't seem to have anything in common.

I've seen comparisons to Twilight but I don't get those. Of course, I haven't read the books, but I've seen the movies (I know, I know). I just feel like this book lacked depth.

However, the story moved along fairly quickly and I was never left bored, so that was good.
